Steubenville hosts 'Hot Dogs for Homes' to aid local humane society

Jefferson County, OH — STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — The Cedar One Charity Committee brought together food, fun, and fundraising at its "Hot Dogs for Homes" event today, supporting the Jefferson County Humane Society.

Carlo Agresta, chairman of the Cedar One Charity Committee, said, "So today we have a charity event to benefit the Humane Society of Jefferson County and the animal shelter."

The event featured inflatables, two magic shows scheduled at noon and 1:15 p.m., and offered a free hot dog with each donation. Agresta noted, "Weather permitting, we will be here regardless."

Agresta emphasized the impact of contributions, stating, "All your donations — whether it's food or monetary — will benefit the Jefferson County Humane Society and animal shelter."

The event concluded this afternoon, but ongoing support and donations for the shelter remain needed and appreciated.
